THINGS TO LOOK FOR IN YOUR POOL

Osmosis

 

Osmosis can cause filtered water to remain between the paint and fibreglass, creating bubbles in the pool wall

Bulging floor
 
A difference in internal and external pressure can cause the pool floor to bulge.

Gel coat deterioration

 

Over time top coat gel paint can start to pulverise or granulate looking chalky.

Black Spot

 Black Spot is typically caused by poor chlorination or high phosphate levels. 

Cracks

 

A small crackline in the gel coat doesn't always mean a big issue unless you see it is filtering water in or out

Shell Leaks
 
When you see water filtering through cracks or connections, this needs to be addressed sooner than later.
